VISION

Being the apex of the educational ladder of the college, the GS envisions to take a lead in terms of meaningful and scholarly research, innovative thrusts and strategies, and viable community outreach program.

To bring about the total Christian development of quality teachers imbued with wisdom, skills and values and ommitted to the service of God and fellowmen.   

GOAL

Guided by the general philosophy of the College, as well as regional and national development goals, the main objectives of the GS are to facilitate efforts towards personal and professio9nal development; enhance moral and spiritual vigor for the development of the total person and to extend the frontiers of knowledge through research to attain academic excellence and leadership in the fields of education, science and technology.   

GENERAL OBJECTIVES

  1. To equip tertiary teachers in general education subjects with the necessary curricular knowledge in their field of specialization.
  2. To train teachers in college, high school and elementary levels in the upgrading of teaching strategies in the general education subjects to improve teaching competencies;
  3. To fill teaching positions and other educational positions in both public and private schools with competent teachers who are masteral graduates.
  4. To answer the need for qualified teachers to evaluate and teach general education subjects in higher and basic education in order to produce quality graduates in their major areas;
  5. To raise the prestige of the teaching profession by offering opportunities for its high academic professionalization.
  6. To imbue teachers with the proper values of responsible and responsive citizens in democratic society.
  7. To work in cooperation and collaboration with other schools, agencies and group for community and national development.
