FCU undergoes ISO 21001 Pre-Qualification Audit

Filamer Christian University, Inc. (FCU) conducted a Pre-Qualification Audit from January 19 to 23 as part of its preparations for the ISO 21001:2025 Educational Organization Management System (EOMS) certification.

The audit was carried out by auditors Gina Japson, Juvy Hamor, Maria Mae Tiongson, and Ronald Finez, who assessed the university’s readiness for the upcoming Stage 1 ISO audit.

The Pre-Qualification Audit or gap announcement aimed to determine FCU’s level of preparedness by reviewing documented management systems, existing processes, and institutional compliance with ISO 21001 requirements.

It also evaluated whether the university’s systems are aligned with international standards for educational organizations.

University officials and unit heads cooperated with the audit team throughout the five-day activity, providing necessary documents and participating in interviews and site assessments.

Results and observations from the audit are expected to guide FCU in addressing areas for improvement ahead of the Stage 1 audit, ensuring a smoother and more effective certification process.

Feedback and recommendations were formally acknowledged by the university to ensure readiness for the initial Stage 1 audit.

The Pre-Qualification Audit marks another key step in FCU’s continuing efforts to strengthen quality assurance mechanisms and uphold excellence in education and institutional management.
