Marking a new milestone in FCU’s global engagement and internationalization efforts, a faculty member will serve as a Micro Degree Program course professor for the very first time.
Asst. Prof. IV Jo Ann C. Natuel, faculty of the College of Business and Accountancy (CBA), was shortlisted as one of the lecturers in the 2026 Summer Micro Degree Program or Certificate Program (MDP) offered by the Association of Christian Universities and Colleges in Asia (ACUCA) to its member-institutions.
The course will focus on Strategic Human Resource Management: Driving Performance and Innovation. Thirty students from nine ACUCA universities across Asia were qualified to attend the classes which will be done virtually three hours daily from July 20 until August 7.
“This micro degree program will provide a comprehensive exploration of the strategic role of human resource development in enhancing organizational performance and fostering innovation in the modern workplace,” said Asst. Prof. IV Natuel.
Created in 2022, the MDP was designed around the following: develop and maintain Christian character, enrich academic quality, strengthen social relevance, provide supplementary education and opportunity for faculty collaboration. Upon completing their chosen field of study within the set timeframe, students earn a Micro Degree Certificate.
