The Hillside Echo, the official student publication of Filamer Christian University, Inc. emerged as one of the top-performing campus journalism groups in the 29th Word Cup Philippines, collecting 24 awards, including multiple championship titles and the prestigious Bronze Ambassador Award.

The competition was conducted via Zoom from July 4 to 18, bringing together campus journalists across the country who showcased their skills and dedication in various journalism categories.

The publication’s latest achievement highlights the consistent competence and commitment of its student journalists, who continue to uphold the values of responsible journalism through their pursuit of truth, excellence, and meaningful storytelling.
