Iloilo City β Central Philippine Universityβs CPUGAD Technology Business Incubator (CPUGAD TBI) formally inked a partnership with Filamer Christian University (FCU) through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing held at CPU on September 25.
The partnership aims to strengthen collaboration between the sister institutions in cultivating an innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem. It also aims to leverage the CPUGAD TBI platform to accelerate business growth and drive research commercialization, startup creation, and institutional innovation in the region.
CPU was represented by Rev. Dr. Ernest Howard B. Dagohoy (University President), Dr. Aries Roda D. Romallosa (VP for Research, Development, and Extension), Mr. Mark Gil D. Peraman (CPUGAD TBI General Manager), Engr. Gelvie C. Lagos (CPUGAD TBI Project Leader), Mr. Renjo B. Debil (Business Consultant/CPUGAD Investments and Networking Unit Head), and Prof. Rae Marie Leong-on (CPUGAD Financial Management Unit Head).
Representatives from FCU included Dr. Erlyn C. Beup (VP for Research, Extension, Internationalization, Innovation, and Development), Prof. Leo Art Diosep E. Borres (Research, Innovation, and Creative Works Director), Dr. Katherine Rose L. Arciga (College of Business and Accountancy Dean/FCU TBI Committee Chair), and Mrs. Mae-Ai L. Taleon (OVP-REIID Secretary/FCU TBI Committee Vice Chair).
