Filamer Christian University, Inc. welcomed auditors from SQC Management System Certification, Inc. for its ISO 21001:2025 Educational Organization Management System (EOMS) Stage 1 Audit scheduled for February 2-3, 2026.
University President Dr. George Cortel along with vice presidents and unit heads formally welcomed the auditors Dr. Mark Anthony Vera, Engr. Mark Anthony Ilagan, and Eng. Eugene Heradura with FCU’s consultant Estrella Buenaventura during the opening program Monday morning.
“We thank you for coming, and we welcome any feedback you may have in your two-day stay here at FCU. We are proud to be the first school to undergo ISO 21001 audit,” Dr. Cortel said.
Provision of the Higher Education including Graduate School and Undergraduate Programs, Basic Education, and administrative offices will be audited in the initial stage 1 with the objectives such as reviewing the client’s management system documented information, evaluate site condition, client’s status, and review of allocation of resources.
Lead auditor Dr. Vera assured the university that they will be objective and constructive in assessing the school, and according to him, feedback made will be helpful for the university to improve its system and standards.
The current audit is a crucial step in ensuring that FCU meets international standards for providing and maintaining quality education and training.
