In recognition of its outstanding contributions to the welfare of Capizeños and its commitment to community service and local development, Filamer Christian University, Inc. (FCU) was conferred the Order of the Golden Heart Kasimanwa Citation of Merit 2025 by the Roxas City government during the awarding ceremonies held on December 3 at the Dinggoy Civic Center.

Mr. Jorgen Gregorio, Vice President for Administration, represented the University and received the citation from City Mayor Ronnie Dadivas and Vice Mayor Teresa Almalbis. FCU was honored for its “selfless, sincere, and compassionate dedication to the welfare and betterment of its Kasimanwas, especially during the city’s most challenging times.”

The award also recognized the University’s generosity and steadfast commitment to service, which serves as an inspiration to current and future generations to become responsible and active citizens contributing to a bigger, better, and brighter Roxas City.

The University expressed its gratitude to the city government for the recognition, which affirms over a century of FCU’s contributions to the city’s development.

Through its Christian education, FCU continues to nurture graduates, board passers, and alumni whose achievements bring pride to Roxas City and reflect the University’s enduring legacy of excellence and service.
