Filamerians join Wenzao Ursuline ICSEAS

Two Filamerians recently joined in Wenzao Ursuline International Conference on Southeast Asian Studies (ICSEAS) held at Wenzao Ursuline University of Language in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, October 17 to 19.

Associate Professor Mary Antoinette Fajardo, FCU College of Arts Sciences chairperson of the Social Science Department, presented two papers: (1) Economic Liberalization Among Southeast Asian Nation: A Comparative Analysis of Market Freedom in Singapore Vietnam, and the Philippines, and (2) Gawad Kalinga Enchanted Farm: A Solidarity Micro-economy.


Professor Fajardo also served as panel discussant revolving around the topic: Digital Youth Cultural Competition. Meanwhile, student delegate Rollyn Oso, a third year Bachelor of Science in Political Science, presented her paper Economic Liberalization Among Southeast Asian Nation: A Comparative Analysis of Market Freedom in Singapore Vietnam, and the Philippines. Wenzao International Conference on Southeast Asian Studies is a prestigious event in Asia, providing delegates the chance to engage with esteemed authors and researchers in the field. The conference covered key topics such as local politics, international relations, economics, and social development.
