After inking partnership with Dewey International School in Cambodia, Filamer Christian University sent five (5) fourth year students from the College of Teacher Education (CTE) on March 12.
Anacel Catapang, Mharjurie De Vera, Shane Diaz, April Kate Durias and Angel Pendon, under the guidance of CTE Dean Dr. Jonathan Leal and Secretary Ruth Golingan were the first batch of student-teachers to be sent by the university for an international internship.
The practice teachers will be staying in Cambodia for three months and were assigned to various grade levels and work assignments to further their skills in facilitating learning to their students.
This internship program is supported by the Student Internship Abroad Program (SIAP) by the Commission on Higher Education.
