Filamer Christian Institute High School Class of 1976 celebrated their 50th anniversary homecoming last March 10-11.

Part of their fellowship is a homecoming program at the University Ground Floor last March 11 which rekindled their bonds and celebrated the enduring spirit of their alma mater.

The program began with a ceremonial march followed by a short devotional by the University Chaplain, Rev. Medy Alimoane. University President, Dr. George Cortel, High School Department Head, Mr. Janrie Agam, FCU Alumni Association Inc. President, Atty. Remia Fuentes-Bartolome, Alumni Association – High School Chapter President, Mr. Francis Fegarido, delivered welcome messages to the alumni.

Highlights of the program also include the giving of golden jubilee alumni certificate of recognition to the attendees. Dr. Amelita Eslaban-Radam delivered a message of response on behalf of the class.

On the other hand, Mr. Jumar Cancel and Ms. Methuselah Norma Janabon shared their nostalgic experiences during high school days. Mr. Jorgen Gregorio, FCU Vice President for Administration, presented the campaign for the Multipurpose Hall which is supported by the Alumni Association – High School Chapter.

The program ended with the singing of the Halls of Filamer and Alma Mater Song and prayer of commitment by the University Chaplain, Rev. Bhart Natuel.
