Filamer’s College of Nursing (CN) showed its exemplary commitment to research excellence during the 13^th International Conference of Nurses hosted by Cebu Normal University – College of Nursing with the theme “Achieving Equity and Sustainable development through Evidence-Based and Innovative Nursing Practice” held at the Crown Regency Hotel, Guadalupe, Cebu City, and November 21-22.

Various researches were presented at the conference serving as platform to share novel knowledge with the aim to address prevailing global health issues.

Filamerians exhibited skills in event where Jade Emmanuel Estifano and Arlo Jurquina took home the third place for Best Paper Podium Presentation in the Student Category for their study “Project Ulan: UV Ray-Powered Flood Monitoring System with level Indicators and Automatic Network” with their adviser, CN Dean Dr. Nelly Guillen.

Additionally, Dr. Guillen received the certificate in behalf of FCU CN for the recognition as one of the co-host institutions.
