Congratulations to our esteemed alumnus, Mr. Dranoel D. Artencio!

Filamer Christian University, Inc. congratulates its alumnus Luke Dranoel D. Atencio for his achievements during the 17th Asia-Pacific Biosafety Association (APBA) Annual Biorisk Conference, held alongside the Biorisk Association of the Philippines (BRAP) 7th Annual Convention.

Atencio, the sole representative from the Visayas and one of only nine participants from the Philippines, was selected for the Health Security Partners (HSP) and Biosecurity Engagement Program (BEP) under the U.S. Department of State. He earned the globally recognized Professional Certification in Biorisk Management from the International Federation of Biosafety Associations (IFBA).

Atencio also won in the International Category for his research poster presentation on ESKAPE Pathogens on Environmental Surfaces in Intensive Care Units from a Tertiary Healthcare Setting. His achievements underscore his role in addressing global health security, and bring great honor to Filamer. Mr. Dranoel is currently a UP Visayas Researcher and Microbiologist
