In another proud moment for Filamer Christian University (FCU), Dr. Minnie P. Chan, Vice President for Academic Affairs, has been elected to the Board of Directors of the Association of Christian Schools, Colleges, and Universities Accrediting Council, Inc. (ACSCU-ACI).
Her election took place on June 19, during the 39th ACSCU-ACI National Assembly held at SotoGrande Hotel in Baguio City.
This year’s assembly carried the theme: “Advancing Excellence: Shaping the Future of Quality Assurance Through Innovation and Collaboration,” a fitting backdrop for Dr. Chan’s appointment, which underscores her commitment to academic integrity, innovation, and service within Christian higher education.
Her new role places her at the forefront of advancing quality assurance and accreditation standards among Christian academic institutions nationwide.
“This is a big step for us, to be linked with some of the best Christian HEIs in the country. It’s a proud moment, especially to our humble institution. This is the beginning of realizing our bigger mission of collaboration and partnership,” Dr. said in an interview.
In the same event, Filamer Christian University International (FCUI) proudly retained all its current accreditation levels, securing multi-level accreditation across a wide range of programs, further affirming FCU’s strong reputation for academic excellence and institutional integrity.
The ACSCU-ACI National Assembly is an annual convergence of member institutions dedicated to strengthening faith-based education in the Philippines. As an active member, FCU continues to contribute to the shared mission of promoting excellence and unity among Christian schools, colleges, and universities across the country.
Dr. Chan’s election not only reflects her personal leadership and dedication but also highlights FCU’s growing influence in shaping the future of Philippine education.
