Excelling in academics, leadership, community engagements and other related extra-curricular activities, two students of Filameri Christian University, Inc. was hailed as one of the Ten Outstanding Students of Capiz (TOSOC) in their respective categories.
Trisha Mae Alabot, a BSN student and the FCU Student Republic President (2023-2024) secured a spot in TOSOC for Tertiary Category, while G Padolla, an SHS student was conferred the same award for the Secondary Category.
Before receiving the prestigious award, both Filamerians underwent through a rigorous selection process by the Borres Youth Leadership Institute, Inc. (BYLI) who initiated the program.
After passing all the steps of selection, the Filamerian hopefuls finally received the award last June 9 at Robinsons Place, Roxas City.
Additionally, Caesar Ian Martinez of the College of Teacher Education was hailed as one of the Top 20 Finalists in the Tertiary category.
Alabot and Padolla add to the list of Filamerians who are TOSOC recipients since the initiation of award in 2012.
