September 18 β The Research, Innovation, and Creative Works Committee (RICWC) of Filamer Christian University (FCU) held its first official meeting to formulate strategic approaches for strengthening the University’s culture of research and scholarly work.
The meeting agenda focused on reviewing faculty research productivity and developing operational plans for the current academic year. During the session, the committee formally reviewed and approved the new Vision, Mission, and Goals of the Research, Innovation, and Creative Works Office (RICWO), as well as the updated FCU Research and Innovation Agenda. Further discussions centered on revising the RICWO manual and outlining continuous improvement strategies for institutional research.
Presiding over the session was RICWO Director Prof. Leo Art Diosep Borres, assisted by Mrs. Myrian Gallaza (RICWO Assistant) and Mr. Airon Buenvenida (University Statistician). Also in attendance were Dr. Erlyn C. Beup (VP for REIID), Dr. Eleonor B. Bechayda (QA Director), Atty. Ma. Juna V. Dieta (REC Chair), and RICWC committee members: Dr. Mary Jane F. Tormon (IGEO Director), Dr. Elica A. Guillermo (CEESO Director), Dr. Sarreal D. SoquiΓ±o (CAS Faculty), Dr. Lorenzo G. Rojo (BSTM Program Head), Dr. Agnes June L. Custodio (CN Academic and Research Coordinator), Engr. Kenneth Mark D. Bulquerin (ECE Faculty), Mr. Janrie Agam (SHS Research Coordinator), and Mrs. MN Velez (CCJE Secretary).
RICWC is an institutional committee approved by the University President to serve as the primary advisory and technical review body of RICWO.
