Filamer has a long history of community development. It stems from the school’s mission of providing an education that would develop the total well-being of individuals in the society. This concern for community development and people in the society is evident in the extension/outreach programs of the school.

Programs and Projects
Description: Reaching out to pre-schoolers that they experience and appreciate God’s goodness and love; providing them with food, clothes and toys. Linis Ngipin gives the young children the opportunity to own a personal supply of teeth-cleaning materials.
Non-formal education with adult; environmental management awareness, family wellness Protection. A client- centered activity where the learner’s learning experience is solicited and shared. The application of theory is encouraged. Extra attention is given to slow learners especially in teaching reading and writing.
Skills development women in sewing, food processing baking, and handcrafting to generate income. Physical development is encouraged through sports activities and the like. Participate in the restoration of environment through tree planting and waste management program.
Community integrated and immersion of students; with the assistance of other units in the conduct of social and civic activity. Develop program on environmental rehabilitation and management focus on tree planting.
Implementation and management of FCU projects;improvement of leadership skills of People through cooperatives and training
Facilitate linkages to different sectors for the implementation of health services. The health care program is the venue for the students to apply the theory learned inside the classroom and they become an instrument for the community to be aware of the basic health care and the prevention of contagious disease.
MPB or little school is a campus- based activity where Education students put into practice the theories they learned in the classroom. Local facilities and resources are utilized. Through community integration programs, Vaseline survey and tutorial skills are enhanced.
Provide learning and livelihood programs for indigents adopted families in order to improve their socio – economic status.
Summer Youth IT Camp; for the leadership enhancement of the Youth, thus, introducing the TESDA competency skills, PC operation and simple hardware trouble shooting , modular training for computer literacy training (CLT); on office productivity; software’s and networking and simple trouble shooting.
Conduct trainings and needs assessment of principals and teachers in adopted barangays; training teachers teach non- readers and slow learners, monitoring and evaluating the faculty and MAT students programs.
