Filamer Blue Falcons

Filamer Blue Falcons is the first university-based cycling here in Capiz and is the official cycling club of Filamer Christian University. The club was founded last September 28, 2022, by the current president, Miss Hannah Joy A. Daynolo with the help of bike enthusiast of the said university and the first official adviser, Mr. Dorcel John Tumlos, which all started on the online platform called “FCUSR Connect” where students send their opinions and shout outs. The club’s mission is to inspire, empower, and connect people through cycling and develop sportsmanship as well as strong athletes, we are not a club that limits its members to just stay in their comfort zone yet we go beyond and push to our limits, for as long as we breath, we attack. Our objective is (1) To introduce cycling to everyone as a form of recreation and sport and to assist individuals in reaching their maximum potential; (2) To build a relationship with individuals who share the same interest; and (3) To accelerate the world's transition to sustainable energy and share the joy of cycling. Its vision is to be a vocal advocate at the nexus of athletics and education, for bicycling to be accepted and encouraged in our university, and to strengthen our community by providing an ecosystem of bike-related programs, events, and opportunities. We believe that cycling is a sport that helps us strengthen not just our physical body, but also our emotional and mental aspects. As long as breath remains, our determination shall never waver, and our dreams will forever endure.
