The FCU Chorale

The FCU Chorale holds the esteemed position of being the official chorale of Filamer Christian University, situated in Roxas City, Capiz, Philippines. Established in 2014 under the guidance of Miss Margarita Contreras, the chorale's reins were later entrusted to Ms. Agnes June S. Limaco upon Contreras's retirement. With a mission to inspire the community through music, the FCU Chorale primarily serves as a music ministry while also contributing to the university's promotion and socio-cultural department. Led by Professor Agnes June S. Limaco, a faculty member of the College of Nursing, and advised by Rev. Medy T. Alimoane, the University Chaplain, the chorale boasts a diverse repertoire encompassing sacred, cultural, pop, rap, and show choir genres. This harmonious ensemble plays a pivotal role in fostering a musical connection within the university and beyond, embodying the spirit of artistic expression and community engagement.

...and we got the Gold!

FCU Chorale triumphant in the 12th Bali International Choir Festival as they were hailed as WINNER of the Mixed Youth Category overcoming five other choirs from different countries.

Despite being the smallest in terms of numbers, yet the driven and powerful voices of the 19 members of the FCU Chorale bravely faced the other choirs with 30 to 50 members in their ensemble. With full trust in the Conductress, Ms. Agnes June Limaco, and the collaborative efforts of every member of the group, the FCUC proved that Filipinos... Capiznons... Filamerians have what it takes to make it in the international choir scene.

Celebrate with us, as we claimed the rewards of our hard work, the results of your support and prayers, and the blessings of God to our petition. We did it! With prayer and praise and hard work, the FCU Chorale did bring home the trophy!

WINNER in Mixed Youth Choir
Gold Level IV and Qualified for the Championship
