FCU deans, heads of offices join institutional operational planning

Strengthening the university’s academic and administrative directions, deans, principals, unit heads, and officers participated in the two-day institutional operational planning and presentation of accomplishment reports for academic year 2025–2026 at Roblee Hall, September 30 to October 1.

“This activity strengthens our commitment to quality education by laying down our plans and effective strategies, identifying the risks in our operations, and showing our envisioned results,” University President Dr. George Cortel said in his opening message.

On the first day, deans, principals, and offices under the Vice President for Academic Affairs presented their respective goals, strategies, and identified risks based on key result areas that guide the future direction of their units.

On the second day, offices under Administration, Finance, and Research, Extension, Internationalization, Innovation, and Development presented their accomplishments and operational plans for the current school year.

Most offices received commendations from the panel for their accomplishments during the previous school year and for presenting improved and more strategic operational plans for the current academic year.

The panel was composed of Board of Trustees members Atty. Samuel Galuegoo, Atty. Remia Fuentes-Bartolome, Rev. Dr. Melvin Mangana, and Rev. Job Santiago; Dr. Cortel; Vice Presidents Dr. Erlyn Beup, Dr. Minnie Chan, Prof. Exequiel Calimutan, and Mrs. Esther Arceño, who provided comments and recommendations to further strengthen the offices’ operational plans.
