Filamer Christian University Alumni Association Incorporated (FCUAAI) formally installed its newly elected officers and Board of Trustees for the 2026–2027 term during an oath-taking ceremony held at the FCU Chapel on September 10.

The ceremony marked the official transition of leadership following the FCUAAI Election General Assembly held on August 22, where the new set of officers was elected to lead the alumni organization.

“We congratulate the new officers, and we are excited to be working with you,” University President Dr. Cortel said.

Dr. Marcelo JC M. Diaz III assumed the presidency, succeeding Atty. Remia D. Fuentes-Bartolome, who now serves as vice president and immediate past president.

“We accept the challenge, and we will do our best to best serve the FIlamerian alumni community,” Dr. Diaz said

Other officers installed were Atty. Nadia Marie Talentino-Obardo as secretary, Mrs. Zenitte Abian as assistant secretary, Mr. Orencio Pelaez Jr. as treasurer, Mr. JR Formillez as assistant treasurer, Mr. Jon Anthony Adjijil, CPA, as auditor, and Mrs. Ma. Carlota Laurino and Dr. Shirley Tipon as business managers.

Joining the leadership team as members of the Board of Trustees are Mr. Jose Ariñez Jr., Mr. Christopher Sam Cordero, Mr. Winston Clyde Ramos, Dr. Lea Alayon, Dr. Joshua Garingo, and Engr. Julius Abela.

Dr. Mary Jane Tormon continues to serve as FCUAAI coordinator.

The oath-taking ceremony opened with a prayer and devotional message from University Chaplain Rev. Medy Alimoane, followed by the introduction of the new officers and the formal oath-taking ceremony

University President Dr. George Cortel delivered a congratulatory message to the newly installed leaders, while Dr. Diaz III delivered his keynote and acceptance speech as the new FCUAAI president.

The ceremony also honored the outgoing leadership under Atty. Fuentes-Bartolome and underscored the continuing role of the alumni association in strengthening the relationship between FCU and its growing community of graduates.

The new FCUAAI leadership is expected to carry forward the association’s programs while fostering stronger alumni engagement and continued support for the university and its community.
