FCU is the only Higher Education Institution (HEI) in Capiz granted with Autonomy and Deregulated Status by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED). Filamer is a producer of board exam passers in Capiz in the field of Education, Criminology, Accountancy, Electronics Engineering, and Nursing, and topnotchers in Education and Nursing board exams.
